Hello Morton Wrestling Family -

Today we traveled to Jacksonville for the IESA Sectional Tournament. Morton placed 6th out of 22 teams. We had 5 wrestlers qualify for the IESA State Tournament next weekend, which is held at the Convocation Center at Northern Illinois University. Our 2026 State Qualifiers are:
O'Rion Martin - 3rd @ 70 lbs
Grant Schelkopf - 4th @ 85 lbs
Kiptyn Rassi - 4th @ 105 lbs
Colton Strohkirch - 3rd @ 155 lbs
Mason Nash - 2nd @ 185 lbs

I am extremely proud of how the team wrestled today. We showed up and competed our hardest. I am very proud to be your Coach.
